Tommy, as with the Kommie group in Ungarn, did they stop all diplomatic relations with you and no more allow troops from Germany to pass to Turkey to help them against those ghastly rebels?

There's a hyperinflation invention which can trigger if you research one of the advanced commerce techs. Apart from that I'm not sure.

Yeah, all pre-existing treaties were severed. So if want to help the Ottomans I will have to either send troops by ship (Germany has 12 transport ships, so enough to take 36,000 men at a time) or invade Hungary.

And @ Tanzhang: I saw that invention, not sure it would be enough for anything spectacular though. We'll have to see I guess.

You have an event for the stock crash, which in turn might trigger the great depression. You might want to trigger themselves of course.

((Actually, in the event if you choose to regulate more etc you'll get the depression for longer.

And the text itself in the scripted events blame government intervention :p

And IRL the keynesian polcies did prolong the crisis and created strong inflation in countries like USA and hyperinflation in Germany and Austria. So I think it is weird that hyperinflation in victoria 2 are triggered by laissez-faire.))

You know what I want out of this AAR right now? I want a fascist government to eventually take power and transform Germany into a totalitarian regime, at which point all important events shall be illustrated via appropriate photos of the Nazis and Nazi-era happenings, with Tommy photoshopping paper hats onto every person's head. :D

Also, there's quite a gap between fascism and national socialism, which we are not gonna discuss here.

Much like the population of our great Fatherland, which coincidentally, is a great summarisation of my plan to take over. Add more paper hats until you find yourself in power.

Also, is anybody else totally amused by the concept of a confused metal bucket?

You came up with my father? :O So you're my grandfather? Last time I checked he died as a revolutionary during 1848, even after being a soldier in the Prussian army.

No he was a hard worker! He made the paper mill himself, started as a single man and then developed it into a factory. I myself went into politics and economics.

This is an absolutely magnificent scenario, where all-jewish paper industrialists are supplying the fascists with innumerous amounts of paper hats, which the fascists are using to confuse the german population into voting them in power, so that they can deport all the jewish industrialists.
