I just searched through the forum but I could not find a list of which sea lanes might be blocked to hostile ships. Can someone give a complete list with the provinces you need to control in order for the sea lane blockade to work.
I was having some difficulties with allied fleets in the Med while controlling Gibraltar and Suez.
Thanks for the help

I probably shouldn't reply as I don't know the answer for sure.

I believe you can block at oresund, gibraltar and suez. I think you need to control both sides.

BUT problems with allied fleets in the Med are not going to because they can still get in and out but because their org doesn't decay for a very long time after you seal them in.

It is also possible to block the Bosporus. You can block a strait if you hold one side, but you need both if you want to use it yourself. Subs can still use Gibraltar and the Sund btw.

The best way to deal with the fleets inside the Med is by naval bomber, and don't forget the islands where they may hide.

All the land and islands in the med were in German/Italian hand. I just wanted to make sure that I can safely reduce the guards on the coastline in the med to bolster the defence of Casablanca which is routinely attacked by stacks of 5 to 20 American/British/French divisions and has been f!@#$%^ hard to hold onto. :D
