BLG submod?

Hey all, new version of CK2Plus looks fantastic, I'm giving it a whirl this evening...

But, question, is the BLG submod still in the works, or scrapped, or what's the deal? My character immersion is lacking! Any help is much appreciated as always.

Last I checked it was dropped due to a severe lack of people left that know what to do with character portraits.

Is the latest version that was available for CK2Plus... That is, 2.06.3, I think, compatible with this release, or would it require tweaking?

it'd required a lot of tweaking as it was dependent on culture files, which have since then changed names (both content and the actual file names). Amongst a lot of other things

BLG won't be folded into the main mod, as it required the portrait DLC's. And we've already made our stance clear regarding submods -- CK2+ won't support them any longer, but people are free to make their own and we'll link to them.

That's... not helpful.

If I'm going to add it into the base CK2+ mod, I need some explicit instructions. I know very little about how the portrait system works, and, considering I have all the portrait DLC's, there's no way for me to tell if I've just added something into the mod which is going to break it for those who don't.

It will, DLC (most/all face pack) is mandatory for BLG

This should never be added to the CK2+ basemod as it would break it for half of the users (including me) and facepacks are always controversial with 100 of differents submods and variants (Better Looking Garbs, CPR, Portrait Realignement and many others). I see no problems with having it as it currently is: a little sub-mod addon used by those that feel that all the facepacks are necessary for the game and if someone else wants to use another portrait mod they are free to do so too.

I agree with loup99 and zeress.
While I have most of the facepacks, others don't.
And CK2+ is a mod that does not require any DLCs to work, and should stay that way.
Make it a submod please if you want to
