We take a second mission on Bringdam, a local noble family has Directorate leanings and are stirring things up. We need to show them who is the straw that stirs the drink

We are expecting fairly heavy resistance so we bring some serous mechs.

Glitch is in the Highlander, Flatline in the Jagermech, Varangin is in the Hunchback 4-P and Sabercat is in the Shadowhawk.

The target is an Orion, a Zeus, a Schreck Tank and a Demolisher. The job gets much easier as the vehicles get caught behind ridges and rough terrain allowing us to focus on the two mechs first. The Zeus was going to be the first target but the Orion barged ahead thinking they had us outgunned. Flatline nails the center torso with several autocannon rounds and Glitch finishes the job coring the mech. Now they are outgunned. The Zeus does not stand a chance and we take it down quickly.

We get word of reinforcements by some LRM fire, telling us that they are out to our right. We move away from them towards the Schrek and take it out. We then face the reinforcements, a Grasshopper, a Thunderbolt, a Victor and a K1 and the remaining Demolisher. Again we spread the damage as we concentrate on them one mech at a time. In the end the Thunderbolt DFA’s Glitch in a desperation move. The move doesn’t work and we finish the job rather easily.

The Jagermech performed much better this time. Flatline found a good position then just sat behind the others firing away. Varangin also performed well in the Hunchback. He charged into the battle at the right time and used his laser bank very effectively. Nice to our pilots excel in what could have been a tough mission.

309k payment and we know have a jumping Thunderbolt.
