I don't know why this is happening. I am using mods and I do believe they are malfunctioning, more specifically the system initializes I am using, but I need to narrow things down before I can start troubleshooting effectively. Some screenshots:

This is the galactic map, I am hovering over one of the affected systems. As you can see there are more than one and Identifiable by the lack of star graphics.

This is the view of said system. Notice the lack of anything. If I try to move the camera with it before returning to the galaxy view, this happens:

This renders the game 100% unplayable.

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. I was using what I think is the exact same mod setup on another game started a few days ago and didn't have this problem then, so I don't know what is going on. If there is a probable cause I have somehow managed to miss please lend a hand.

If you are playing with mods, please try without... if no problem without, check with the author of the mods.

Then, i'll be moving this to the mod section, where it belongs, and i'll try to help out a fellow modder (although i lack experience in Stellaris modding).

Something that usually helps is DxDiag. DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.
