Blank events (2.2)

Hello all, the title says it all: When I boot up the most recent HiP download, I seem to be getting around 7 blank events a few months into the game. By blank, I mean completly blank: No flavor text, and no options, rendering the game unplayable after the events fire. Any workarounds for this bug?

What HIP modules are you running? Are you using any other mods in conjunction with HIP?

Hey, sorry for not replying sooner, I completly forgot I even posted this !!! Anyways, I am running all the modules in the installer EXCEPT for the native SWMH localisations.

If not:

What culture are you playing?
What religion are you playing?
Are you using the latest HIP download from Wed Nov 19 (today)?

I am not running any other mods alongside HIP.

I am playing the Duchy of Saxony, however, it would appear that this bug happens no matter which nation I play as. I tested this on East francia, West francia, and a few other duchies in Germany. It triggers a few days into the game. :C
And yes, I recently reinstalled the mod, with the latest download, still no luck.

Would it be because I don't have the actual CM DLC (I have all the major dlc except for CM at this point, but I don't run Sunset).

No, running without CM should be fine (though you're missing quite a few features if so). Try to verify the integrity of your game cache via Steam. If you go into your Library, right-click CKII, then click Properties, then switch through the tabs until you see 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache' as a button, well then, you're there.

EDIT: And, of course, the latest HIP download only works for 2.2.1 and no earlier.
