Blank Dynasty Shields

I have just purchased the game off STEAM. I got the Collection, so base game with almost all of the DLC. I havent got Old Gods yet or it seems any of the Celt related DLC. When I launch the game and try and play, half my Dynasty shields are blank.

Am i missing something really obvious?

oh dear how embarrassing i just searched that page for Dynasty Shields, thought thats what they were called. didn't realised they were called flags. Sorry.

They are really called coat of arms and those are for the titles. Dynastic coat of arms are those that are linked to certain dynasty and can be seen with all character who have a dynasty on their character page.
