Black screen bug

i was playing a multiplayer game and i kept getting a black screen which would appear intermittently. it got so bad i had to shut the game down in the task bar because i just could not do any thing.

Intel core 15-4670k cpu 3.40ghz
navidia GTX 970
mother board H87-d3H

This happens to me if I use the incorrect resolution. At 1920x1080 it is fine, but at 1600x900 I will get some black flashes. I have a 960M. It wasn't that much of a problem though once I changed resolution, so maybe we are talking about a different issue.

i play on 1920 and im getting the problem. it also happening when i start a skirmish game or save or load a save

Its a windows thing. This helped for me:
Go to options and change from fullscreen to windowed fullscreen.
