I started a new game with deadly and more plagues on, and the black death came in 1054 and it has not stopped or changed from this general area for over 60 years! Does CK2+ change diseases in anyway?

I started a new game with deadly and more plagues on, and the black death came in 1054 and it has not stopped or changed from this general area for over 60 years! Does CK2+ change diseases in anyway?
that's what happens
Plus has slightly reduced disease spread because we have more trade routes and outposts.
Weird, the youtube timelapses of similar plague settings have it lasting at most 30 years. I guess I'll try and edit the save and change the settings
