Well, I hope that's not the official answer the Turkish government gave to the Persian one to justify its refusal of the licence production request. XD By the way, your Curtiss Hawk III may need an air base in the easternmost region of the country, in order to be able to be operative against Persia and the Soviet Union.

Our Government gave some long winded excuse probably ;D and I'm not certain but I think there may be an airbase in the capital of Iraq which is a British puppet so I would invade them before making any move on Persia which would be my Eastern airbase. Also my air force is small and likely wont play a part in the war as I don't plan on expanding it and as Ikarases says. The War will be won on land!

Thanks!:)

I'm not seeing the last picture of the update. Other than that Subscribed

Yes it wont work for some reason on my photobucket but what it basically shows is that a chose the decision 'prepare for war' which will give me minus 20 neutrality for a certain period of time, about a year I think and Thanks!:)

Subbed, though flooding Iran's build queue for the remainder of the game could've been useful. War is won on the land! :p

Thanks!:) and yes I didn't think of that! although that seems a bit gamey for me when I do want to keep this slightly realistic ;D

Timing must be key I gather with your goals with Turkey! Don't want to rush to join the Axis too quickly with powerful Allied/Comintern enemies along your borders! :glare:

Personally can't wait to see how you do, I've always been fond of Turkish AARs attempting to recreate the OE!

I agree timing will be key but I can start wars with my neighbours aka Bulgaria, Greece as a limited war while I'm in the Axis although I'll have to nab Greece before the Italians. And correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that the Danzig or War decision made Germany have a limited war with the allies meaning I could be in the Axis and still choose when I want to join the war like Italy? I am prepared for the worst with the Soviets right on my doorstep once Barbarossa starts up! And thanks, I hope to fulfil your optimism!

I just want to say as well thanks for the feedback and the support it has been awesome considering this is my first AAR and I've only written a couple of updates. Anyone who's subbed or written on the thread or is following silently a want to give a massive thank you to all of you. I never thought I'd get this kind of support! Some of you may be wondering why I haven't updated for a while, well I've been really busy lately and I haven't played past July '36 so I need to play ahead which I will do tomorrow which means I should have an update out by Friday? Hopefully. But anyways I just wanted to let you guys know whats up and why I haven't been posting recenty.

Cheers for the support!

Bye:)

You're right. Germany doesn't really declare war on Allies, but Allies declare war on Germany due to the guarantee of Polish independence. But only on Germany itself, as it is the only one to break it ;)

Chapter 3:21st July 1936-10th February 1937

A large breakthrough was made in our industries today as we could now construct more modern factories that would greatly increase our arms capacity even if they would take 19 months to build as our builders still go to grips and got experience building the new high tech factories.

On 17th August 1936 the Berlin Olympic games ended, they were seen as a great success and PR exercise for Hitler and was the first games to be televised live. We finished 19th in the medal table with one gold and one bronze medal, both in wrestling, these two athletes were given a heroes welcome on return to the country and Kemal Ataturk invited them both to meet him to congratulate them on their efforts.

On 10th November 1936 a situation broke out in Spain that could have potentially serious consequences for the rest of Europe. A situation had been brewing throughout 1936 after the victory of the radical left-wing had turned into a revolution against the status quo. The army decided to appose the revolutionist which gave the government no choice but to join them which brought war back to Europe. The situation threatened to get out of hand as Germany, Italy and the Soviet Union aided the respective sides. Our government remained strictly neutral however we did send a private message to Berlin saying we supported their decision and one to General Franco wishing him luck in the war.

Our Infantries weapons were upgraded for the first time since the Great War in what was seen as a massive step to improving our military as having modern equipment would give our men an advantage over our less equipped enemies in the Balkans. Also as our army would often be smaller than our opponents having better equipment would go a long way to evening the playing field.

Our industries were given another boost as we continued to learn new ways to improve our industries efficiency and performance to try and catch the more modern major nations otherwise we would fall behind in any arms race to come.

Sorry about no update in ages guys, I hope anyone still following enjoys this, I've played till the end on 1937 so I'll try and get that up soon!
