Hmmm.... but I'm still not sure teh bright Vicky flags will look as good as the HoI flags... but I guess I'll have to see.

Still, I don't think the biggest problem is their large size, but rather the fact that lots of interface graphics will have to be altered...

Is your EU2 hanging flags template available for download btw?

Also, what would you suggest I do with the small shields? Keep them as they are, or make them small hanging shields (eg. just resize the big ones)?

Yup, here it is, fresh and new, just converted it from the original HOI template.

Do you mean the HOI flags that comes with the game?

Yeah... I might as well just resize those from HoI I can use, instead of creating the exact same flags from scratch... like those for UK, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, etc.

No no... I meant, can you make it so that the 4 flags are side by side, with no green stuff between them?

Well it's no biggie, it works fine... and I might as well make all flags from scratch instead of copying those from HoI anyway... yeah I think I'll just do that.

EDIT: One thing though... can you pls tell me the size of the shields, both the big ones and the small ones?

The big ones are 55x38 pixels and the small ones 27x20 pixels

Well maybe it's just me... but it looks as though the hammar and sickle are a bit closer to the right border of the flag on the last one... but maybe I just see things, perhaps it's the dark colour on the last one that tricks me...

Obviously, hanging flags are ordinary flags tipped 90° to the right. They wouldn't fit otherwise.

But how about those EU2 nations that have CoA style flags? I'll give you an example:

Clearly, this will look better as it is - eg. without rotating it 90°. However, if I do this, this flag - and others - will not follow the same "guidelines" as flags like England, Denmark, France, etc...

So should I stick to the same procedure for them all - or make exceptions, where it will look good?

For the banner of arms I say leave them as they are.
