So this focus is supposed to produce two SHBBs that are 50-40% completed in production... HOWEVER, the two ships when coming into the production line only have ARMOR and ENGINES on the ship models. Is this supposed to be how they want it? Because this is really bad since the fastest way to make them good would be to produce a variant, wait for them to finish, and then convert them to the new template which would take even longer. So, is this just a 'bug' that Paradox missed, or is this on purpose?

Dunno if this is any new bug but one possible reason for modules missing can be:

If you research a new hull type you also get one template for them. This template uses to have some modules installed - which are one tech level below your tech current. This does not count for the primary modules coming along with the research itself (in case of SHBB: heavy gun V, heavy armor IV). So the heavy guns V have to be there.

Still, it is imagineable for the remainder of the free template that - if you haven't researched tier II modules (e.g. AA, secondary guns) that these modules do miss out on the new free template (level 1 minus 1 = 0) so no modules in this case.

I assume that you are aware that you won't get the 'Zero focus' if you chose the BB primacy focus (unless my knowledge is outdated).

I mean if that's the case then the NF should be locked until research is met. Though ill add it to bugs just to get some clarification.

Curious as i am, i just checked the matter (using some console magic ;) ). The Yamato class template is there - in all it's glory and even if you don't have researched any naval stuff at all.

I assume that it's just a small oversight on your part. When you click on the naval production button, the new basic hull type will be on top and highlighted.

BUT if you click on BBs in the hull typ ledger, the equipped Yamato class will be shown. The two ships added to the production queue correspond to the equipped variant as i checked.

You know after digging around myself... you are 100% correct. I was clicking on the hull and not the specially made one that was in production XD. My apologies everyone.
