Hello all, I am making this thread with random ideas I have had while playing EU4 and such. Hope you enjoy and sorry if some of these have been suggested before.

===Nation Import/Export===

With the El Dorado DLC, it would be nice if nations you make have an export/import function so you can import friends nations or export them to Steam workshop. Or even save a template that you can readjust as needed.

===Army Painter===

Select what 'sprites' your nation uses including patterns and such instead of just general tech group ones. For example if you selected an emblem for your nation, it show up on a shield or medieval tunic.

===Enhanced Constitutional Republic===

It would be nice if instead of selecting a candidate category you could select between randomly generated leaders with random stats with a decent primary stat (Like that Naming Event where you can choose a heirs name). To balance this though maybe make it where they lose their +1 to all stats on reelection? And maybe they can only do 2-3 terms at most?

===Automated Building===

Maybe make it where if you right click a structure it will automatically build in your territory as long you have the money + 100 (or 1000) gold reserve. Limit to only one building queue at a time. Does not auto build on non-cored territory.

===Mercenary Army===

Maybe have a check mark on your army to assign it to be a mercenary army with a diplomatic option to offer mercenary aid for a set amount of income per month. This would improve relations with who hired them but lower relations to who they go to war with maybe even give a Casus Belli.

===More Espionage Options===

I know it is unlikely but it be nice to see assassinations (generals, soldiers, monarchs, advisors), money/tech (monarch point) theft, raids (disguising as natives and attacking colonies), secret alliances (lure a bigger target into attacking you only to find out you got a secret coalition but if discovered you take a big hit to trust with non-pact neighbors). Just more shady dealings in general would be nice. It also be interesting if you can capture a general/heir/or monarch in combat you can ransom them off (or use them as leverage in war score).

===Civil War + US Idea===

I know it is *very* unlikely but it would be nice to extend the time-line to the civil war era and have the US have a new state mechanic (similar to the HRE and merchant republic factions) where you have to placate to states or else they run the risk of declaring succession and going to war with you for independence. Maybe if you have enough territory it would form a new state, similar to how colonial countries form after you have a certain amount of territory.

===Naval Assaults===

It would be interesting that after a certain amount of tech is reached (or possibly an idea is met), Heavy Ships help provide siege power to coastline territories but not be able to engage land targets directly or help in fort assaults. Also to balance it, divide the bonus to territories being sieged that border the the body of water.

===Progressive Terrain===

Maybe as tech advances (supply limit and stuff), some terrain that is previously uncolonizable becomes available. Sort like you are 'taming the land'. That or you can use explorers to chart 'dense' areas to colonize them.

===Enhanced Religions===

These are just my ideas, I am sure people can suggest religious ideas like crazy XD.

Catholic
-Patron Saint: Similar to the Norse/Hindu 'Choose a Deity', Patron Saints offer small bonuses.

Protestant
-Devotion Slider: Similar to the Muslim piety slider but focuses on Evangelicalism vs Modernism (basically Art related bonuses vs Tech related bonuses)

Animist/Shamanist/Totemist
-Spirit Animal: Basically have them accumulate faith points. Once enough faith points are achieved they can 'buy' a Spirit Animal to give them a bonus. The more Spirit Animals, the more bonuses.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed, I will probably have more ideas later (in which case I will just edit this post) Also sorry for the wall of text :p

Blockades (from ships of any type) already make coastal sieges faster, I'm pretty sure. An unblockaded coastal province actually gets -2 or something like that to its siege roll.

I think at this time period people still used saint names and that would be your "patron saint" in a way. So if your name was Paul you would "have" Saint Paul or whatever.

Yeah, this is already 30 years in Vicky 2.
