Watched it last year, left me weeping like a baby. It's an incredibly powerful story, I've recommended it to many of my friends.

The 4-hour-long Director's Cut is one of my all-time favourite movies, not just war films. It's not very historically accurate in places, but so was the book. I'd be happy to recommend a few books about U-Boote if you're interested.

The score to this moving is amazing.

This one is my personal favourite.
