No, absolutely not. The next person to put up Battle of Britain will be hunted down and flayed!
I've been forced through more viewings of that film than a human should be made to endure :(

Well, for those on the tank thread and looking for a replacement for Battle of Britain, I put forth the best of both...

I've always had soft spots for Tora! Tora! Tora! and Midway, though they aren't really the greatest films.
Are those the two which were supposed to be two halves of a a whole or something?

It's actually not awful, despite the presence of Stephen Baldwin.

Tora, Tora, Tora was made from combining two books written about the Pearl Harbor attack, one from the American perspective and the other from the Japanese. IIRC, the film was made by two different directors as well.

"God damnit Hatchy, why can't we fold space/time and get the full comic rather than a opening splash panel?"

Also

"Keep going, improving, and you'll remind me of poring over old Howard Tayler stuff compared to newer stuff he did."

Fury would be my favourite one.

If it weren't for some details in that ending scene that totally break my immersion.

Esp. during the night, those Nazis would be less suicidal lemmings if they tried to reenact the Wolfenstein 3D AI. What's up with trying to zig zag in an open field in front of a firing machine gun? Even if I had the stupid Idea to do that, my body would probably still refuse to comply.
