I am hoping a future release will improve the search function for finding people. Please don't misunderstand, the current options are light years ahead of what existed in CK I. However I am finding it extremely frustrating to find potential brides (or husbands) that are worthy of marrying. The "great house" option seems to include every piddly courtier in Europe, so if I am playing a king and trying to marry off my daughter it is a pain to find someone suitable. The "ruler" option is equally flawed as it shows barons and bishops.
My thought is that there should be sub-options under these headings. So under "ruler" instead of yes, no and either you could include options for each title level (baron, count, duke, king, emperor). Then something similar could be done for great house. The great house option might take a bit more thought, as the goal would be to identify characters who might just be courtiers but are heirs to titles.
I was playing William the Conqueror and ended up spending 45 minutes try to find husbands for my daughters in one game. This was particularly frustrating because once I found a prince, they would not accept the proposal. However that subject is handled in a different thread.
Any thoughts on improving the character search functions?
