Does anyone know of a mod that allows you to control where your colonial nations colonize? I'm not just talking about preventing them from colonizing outside of their colonial region, I also mean establishing boundaries within colonial regions that they can't colonize past. I ask this because a) colonial nations love to go bankrupt by constantly colonizing and b) I also don't want some of my colonial nations to expand past a certain point. Sometimes I just colonize five or slightly more provinces as a halfway point (five instead of just one so it can manage and defend itself) to something more valuable, or because there's a certain trade good with a spawn chance in that area but not necessarily the entire colonial region (gold in Brazil and Columbia for example), and I don't want my colonial nation to get any bigger than that, especially because that increases their liberty desire. It'd also help with bordergore and with cooperative colonization of the same colonial region in multiplayer. Any help is appreciated.

Subsidise them 2 ducats a month and they'll bankrupt from colonisation less, also pay attention to and pay off their debts?

If you're having with liberty desire, improve relations, build up your army, build up your dev

Bold of you to assume I myself aren't bankrupt. Jokes aside, I appreciate the help but I'm generally able to deal with all that, I'd just prefer not to. Plus that still doesn't solve the problem of border gore and multiplayer coop. There are also some colonies I just don't want to expand for whatever reason. Being able to tell a colonial nation what provinces to colonize and not colonize feels like the simplest way of dealing with all that. It'd also mean I could help my colonies expand in a smarter way, which is a nice bonus.

Can't you mark provinces as interest or vital interest and the AI will colonise them?
