This is just two serious question.

1 How many beta-testers where involved in the testing?
2 How long did the test phase last?

Failure to send their names in to Patric in time to make the manual is one I can think of.

Who beta tests the manual?

Having been through EUI, EUII, and now HOI, I have struggled through each of them with various degrees of mumbling.
Because I'd rather contribute than complain, I hereby volunteer my services for that little item.

The problem with manuals is they must be finalize before the game is, due to translations and printing.

True enough.

My thought wasn't accuracy issues so much as general structuring and information presentation (eg. hotkey section in the HOI manual). As we both know, these forums have been the de facto manuals for most of us, although I wonder about the poor lost souls who haven't found this haven yet .

I suppose in the grand scheme of things it's a fairly minor issue anyways.
