an interesting bug: I've somehow managed to combine land units with ships as a fleet and they swim together but don't land, after game reload both the ships and the regiments just vanished :[

Also peace interface still lies - some co-belligerents are free of dip, even though it shows that they cost diplo. For example with a big imperialism CB war against: free: USA, Mexico, Brazil, Holland (expelled to the carribean and has provinces in SA); and another country with Argentine as a colonial nation.
Individual/Separate peace:
  • All Argentine provinces diplo cost=0, a province of its overlord costs diplo.
  • Brazil diplo cost=0
  • Mexico: all provinces cost diplo

Will there be any gamebalance changes or gameplay changes in the final 1.13 patch compared to the beta? Or will it just be the beta patch relabeled and release with bugfixes and oos-fixes?

Same thing happend to me as I formed KoJ with the Knights.

So it is a more general problem; I didn't have it in Tuscany-Italy and Lithuania-Ruthenia transformations with this patch. Interesting... I decided to put that game on hold to see if this gets fixed. The Mughals' ideas are quite superior compared to the Timurids' ones after all.

Forming Scandinavia I kept my Denmark ideas and admittedly was disappointed. Glad to know its a problem and not just the game as intended.

Thought I might as well mention a couple of other bugs I've noticed with this patch:

(1) Full annexation of the warleader might make you the new warleader in their other wars. (You can then call your allies into those, though.)

These might be as intended although it seems reasonable to think they're not:

(2) Not accepting a "generous" separate peace gives a stability hit even if your alliance is winning big.

(3) Treaty of Tordesillas protects countries' colonial rights even after they abandon Catholicism.

1.13 has been in beta for almost 2 months now... I love PI and the devs and i fully support them taking a vacation, but 2 months for a beta patch is a bit long. From what I've heard the only thing holding it back is an OOS issue, but at this point i think the patch needs to be released and the OOS issue fixed with a hotfix or something later for those of us who play single player

Forming Scandinavia doesn't change initial NIs.
To clarify, it doesn't change ideas by design. Not all such decisions do.
The indicator of a bug would be when the decision effect says it will change ideas but doesn't actually do it ("gain new traditions and ambitions").

I am not assuming that it can only be solved through a full patch; I am merely skeptical of your confidence that it's hotfix fodder.

The OOS issues seem to have been fixed. We're currently testing the final version of the patch and if all goes well it'll be out later this week.

Here is a quick diff:

- Fixed major OOS caused by set controller commands being posted twice.
- Reduced AE from fabricating claims.
- Removed the scaling war exhaustion cost reduction and stability cost modifiers from seats in parliament.
- Re-electing a ruler now gives -10 karma (down from -20) and electing a new ruler now gives +10.
- Reduced Karma loss for starting offensive wars from -25 to -10.
- Buddhists no longer pay any diplomatic cost for releasing nations, releasing vassals and returning cores.
- Administrative Efficiency now also lowers AE generated.
- At least 50 AE is now required for a country to join a coalition (up from 30)
- Taking provinces from a large country now reduces AE generated by up to 50% (uses the same scaling as increased AE for taking provinces as a large country, so a country taking provinces from an equal sized country gets neither a bonus nor a penalty regardless of size).
- Fixed AI always accepting peace for large enough sums of gold.
- AI: Will now generally avoid taking provinces when doing so would result in an undefeatable coalition.
- Attacker allies are no longer automatically set to be called if they would accept, instead you have to manually select them, so that allies aren't accidentally called to wars where you don't want them.
- Ideas that give +25% hostile core creation cost are now shown in province interface.
- Fixed a bug where besieging obsolete forts could cause you to lose army tradition.
- Fixed a bug where a war between two AIs would never end due to faulty peace treaty construction logic.
- Vassal Forcelimit Modifier now works correctly.

Would be great to get the AE reduction from DIP tech instead. Late DIP techs are fairly useless currently, especially after client states and advanced CB.

Might do this in the future but we wanted to minimize having to tweak around in the interface.
