you can still start as a Dutch Republic in 1444, even though it supposed to be available only in 1581, also its interface doesn't show next election date :/

When does the actual patch go live?
Two questions for those in the known:
1. Will a save game started from 1.12.2 be compatible with 1.13?
2. Will a save game started from the 1.13 beta be compatible with the final 1.13?
1) Yes except for Ironman cloud saves. Those seem to not work,
2) Yes.
Perhaps it has something to do with this:I can't seem to take territories from a non-belligerent in my war. It says they are too far away. Am I missing something?

- In order to demand provinces you must now be able to make them your core (if not already), either directly or eventually through other provinces you are taking at the same time.
I'm a modder, so perhaps the average players would never think of doing this... but after every patch, I always browse the game directory and view folder in Details to see which folders/files have been patches (by date modified) so I can update my mod files accordingly.
If you do that, it should become apparent why this July 1st hotfix filesize was so large for some... and why SolSys didn't spill the beans.

Judging from Arumba's recent videos, the check to see if you can core it doesn't ignore blockades. I.e. since Poitou is blockaded, you can't core based off it, so the check says you can't take it.
