I have actually tweaked the code so that instead of the current system were if actual bought is 95% of supply we set demand to 110% of supply we set it to 120% and prices start to rise a bit more. The code we had already factored in their 'bug' just not by enough. The arrogance of these people, that everyone else was to be denied their opinion because they are so important angered me profoundly. It is shocking behavour and I am not going to tolerate it. Everyone who paid for Victoria 2 has a right to express an opinion about the beta patch. I make no promises about what we will be able to do anything about it, but we will seek to listen.

What is this a reference to? I hadn't seen this

Don't know why but... I am playing Persia and even with a causis bellis to 'Aquire State' to The Russian Empire:

I cannot use this when declaring war agaisnt them for justification:

Also I cannot declare a war via 'Aquire State' to any other country.

Are you uncivilised? Acquire state only works vs 2 civs or 2 uncivs, not civ vs unciv.

Why are the fascist parties of independent Bavaria, Baden, Saxe-Weimar called Nationalsozialistischen Deutschen Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP)? Why would they call themselves German, if by 1900 or whenever, Bavaria, Baden or Saxe-Weimar they're still independent. The Fascists aren't exactly pan-nationalists, are they? I mean if you understand the "Nation", as the Bavarian people, why would the fascists support a foreign power? Isn't that a bit defeatist for a group of people fighting for the nation?

The idea and ideal of the German nation predated the creation of an unified German state.

Ok, am I the only one noticing this particular funky peace behavior?

Playing as Austria I declared war on Prussia with the Hegemony war goal. At the time it required a 96 war score, but over the course of the war it went up to 102.

The war score cost for Hegemony are dependent on the countries in the sphere. If Prussia gets more countrys in their sphere during your war the war score cost went up. I suggest for the first war use the "Take from sphere" wargoal so the cost for Hegemony decrease for the next war.

I don't know if it's WAD, but when an enemy is already busy loading troops from ships and you attack those ships with your navy they will not stop unloading. They will just continue unloading the troops while the naval battle is underway. This seems strange to me.

Very interesting. There are caps for promotion to clergymen (4%), officer (0.2%), aristocrats (2%) in individual pop type's promotion table, but no cap for promotion to bureaucrats (presume to be 2% according to some old sources). Not sure if it's intentional or not.

hmm I came across something weird playing as Two Sicilies the other day. I don't know if it's WAD, but when an enemy is already busy loading troops from ships and you attack those ships with your navy they will not stop unloading. They will just continue unloading the troops while the naval battle is underway. This seems strange to me.

It happens in 1.2, so it wasn't introduced with the patch

First thing I noticed, Britain nerfed! They DOWed me for New England, and I actually defeated them! In 1855! I had to take all of Canada before they WPed, though...
UK is also in second place behind France, who lost a war against the NGF.

"Supply costs now affect military score"

So higher supply costs lower or raise the score? I can't see the logic either way...
If I'm reading correctly this should lower the military score of uncivs like China, which, while they have large militaries, have backward tech (lower supply costs). Unconfirmed

Indeed, but his screenshot doesn't show why he got the CB. The border incident event doesn't fire for uncivs anymore anyway.

I think I did get the boarder incident where some of my people were arrested in Russia. I closed it though so I have no screenshot.

Also, I was uncivilised at that time :(

Any idea why China is busy conquering obscure Portugese colonies? I read it happens to others as well, not just me, and it is highly unusual, and ahistoric even for this game. :)

I've seen it happen once in 1.2 as well, for what it's worth. So it's not entirely new to this patch. My last 1.3 playthrough didn't have it.
