I know the game has just entered alpha stage, and wont be in beta for a long time, but do you have any estimate for when the 10 beta keys will be given out.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
I wish that was true, I would assume that once the game is in beta they will be handed out.

Thats what i was expecting but what I was really asking was if they have an estimate on when they will enter beta.
In the days before the beta they will very likely ask people to sign up for beta testing like they have done before.

It could take 6 months for alpha. But consider this. Johan has already stated a minimum on 3 months each for both alpha and beta. Factor in the month of July being a holiday and if i recall correctly they take a month off at the end of the year or the very begining soooo. They just went alpha 3 months plus one of vacation is 4 months so earliest beta would be mid November. So around christmas would be accurate for a 2nd round of beta keys (i doubt those keys would be in the first round). Add 4 months to that (3 development and another month of holiday) and we have a plausible release date around March or so. So dont count on Q1 2016, just hope they have no other major issues and Q2 is acheivable. Add in issues and it could be much later. They'll probably announce a realease date with their first beta approval.

As would i. People just seem to be confused on why the dates are so far away so i thought id break it down so everyone could understand and maybe we wouldn't get the questions anymore.
