and Sweden got a long nose
That idiom doesn't seem to translate well. The only thing that "getting a long nose" implies to me is lying, like Pinocchio.
and Sweden got a long nose
What is means in this situation is that they were conned and were left with nothing and looked really stupid. That idiom doesn't seem to translate well. The only thing that "getting a long nose" implies to me is lying, like Pinocchio.

No the colonial independence wars. E.g. American revolution, Mexican independence war, Haitian independence, etc.
Who is to say none of the Lesser Antilles couldn't have revolted? And given Haiti is just a single province (or is it two?) then you need provinces which never revolted. And even just the Bigger Antilles isn't really that many provinces.None of those are part of the Lesser Antilles.
It is around the bottom of the beta list for some reason.I don't see 1.14.4 as an option in Steam, even after restarting. PC-only?
well,to be fair... we did get the labour union since the majority got mad enough from bad working conditions and bad pay that they all joined the union and demanded together, 'together we are strong' the saying was in DK. When the factory owners had other to work in the factories due to strikes, they simply had to make some deals with the unions and respect their powerHere in Korea you get 2 weeks of paid vacation a year, but in practice we get no paid vacations at all.
You often get ostracized by your boss and peers for even asking for a paid vacation and your chance of promotion vaporizes with it. The penalty imposed on the employers for breaking the law is so light that most companies choose to ignore it so there is no paid vacations. You are forced to work extra hours after your regular business hours and you don't get paid the extra. In addition you are also dragged to bars after work to entertain your boss. Often, you are called to work on Saturday and Sunday on short notice and you are obligated to work regardless of your weekend plans.
Signing up with a labour union is like signing up your letter of resignation and you are basically corporations' slave. (Samsung has no labour union to this day) Koreans work 2300 hours a year in average, and that is excluding 'extra hours' you work and not get paid for. My father used to leave home at 7 am and return at 12am(midnight) 6 days a week when he worked for a company.
I live in one of the shittiest countries among OECD members. North Korea shows the world how bad communism can be while South Korea shows the world how bad capitalism can be. Everytime I see Paradox devs leaving for a long break I feel very sad for Koreans. Glorious Sweden needs to invade Korea and incorporate our country as one of their provinces. Sweden gets great RTS and AOS gamers while Koreans get a better life; a fair deal if I ever heard one.
The problem is if they have anti union laws. And having a 7 months long general strike/lockout isn't really feasible in this day and age.well,to be fair... we did get the labour union since the majority got mad enough from bad working conditions and bad pay that they all joined the union and demanded together, 'together we are strong' the saying was in DK. will remind you that we had anti-union laws, persecuting of members and leaders of unions and imprisonment and attacks on any who supported it openlyThe problem is if they have anti union laws. And having a 7 months long general strike/lockout isn't really feasible in this day and age.
then you should contact a lawyer because your employer is breaking the law
uk get 28 days paid holidays a year and since most people get 2 days off a week that equates to 5 and a half weeks. if you dont work bank holidays then that would reduce your spendable holidays by 7 days but those days are still counted as paid holidays.
I know we had those. But my point was that I don't see a 7 months long general strike/lockout being feasible these days---remember that was what it took to get the September Agreement.will remind you that we had anti-union laws, persecuting of members and leaders of unions and imprisonment and attacks on any who supported it openlybut the global world makes it a bit more tricky, not impossible though. Since many industries also need to be local and the cost of moving out is still quite steep... but still easier when production was more national...
it does take some time yes, and if they had that thought back then that 7 months was a long time then it would never have happenedI know we had those. mid january... They need to test some things currently and some balancing and the holidays gets in the wayI know that CTDs have priority, I just wish they would fix mundane bugs that make game unplayable (like AI, ZoC, estates, peace, trade in RNW, etc).
And bugs that are God knows how long in game: colonist travel time/route, battles, or even herald announcing ruler's personality trait.
