So I was the guy who challenged Daniel and Jake in the last World War Wednesday episode (
) (56:13). Jake and Daniel, that challenge still stands >:L. I have logged more than 500 (359 online on Steam)hours on HoI3; I think? That's a guess really I would sometimes spend whole days away. I know at one point you could get the beta if you invited like 20-25 people to the game page? This was quite a while back and I haven't checked since then because that was a high amount of people to invite to get into the beta so I quickly gave up.
Has anyone else felt this way as well? That goal seemed kinda large especially since Hoi is largely a single player experience.
Don't want to seem rude by asking if there is a way to get the beta currently? I do love this game as it fills up my free time. HoI3 is absolutely my go-to game for boredom. I'm very active minded and enjoy a game that can make all my neurons fire.
I also wanted to thank Paradox for choosing to release HoI4 on D-day this year since I'm going off to college in the fall. Very nice I get some time to play it before I get into my studies. I also wanted to say thank you for making such a great series and I hope to see it live well into future. It's hard to find a grand strategy game that could ever compare to the HoI series. Total War comes close but is not nearly as entertaining as HoI.
Also, some questions if I may:
1. Will the UK and France be able to release all those puppets they start with like they were able to in HoI3?
2. Will the removal of money drastically alter game play? Money is essential to WW2 and was the bases for the large buildup for the war to even take place. I think it was one of the few times in history where money was completely ignored and Allied nations signed debt treaties to pay off later. It would be weird to me to trade anything with anyone for factory space. Especially before the war breaks out.
3. What other states can be released?
4. Is Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, India etc. able to be released like as in HoI3?
5. How are you folks doing today? xD
6. Also, where is Espionage? I don't remember seeing a single thing about it in any of the WWW episodes.
7. Is that feature taken out or has it not been added yet?
8. Will the generic focuses for other nations be fair and balanced compared to lets say Germany? I know in HoI3 Germany got ridiculous bonuses for staying historical and I found that a little odd. I also found it impossible to play as France since my divisions kept shattering as soon as combat broke out.
Cheers,
Quen
