I have to admit, I do find your approach interesting on this patric.
You had a vote in HoI regarding what version peoples game was... and that list included a warez version.
But people, some of who could be honestly new to the internet or think the beta is open and try and download the game and you think this is worth banning people for? but not for voting they have a warez version of HoI?
Arn't they both taking advantage of a situation, with one of them gifted to them from yours or your webmaster's mistake and the other one they have to search out and look to deliberatly break the law...
I just think this is harsh and rather unfair to people who obviously support your product and who arn't obviously trying to do Paradox out of money in anyway shape or form.
Guess i'm rambling, I guess its your choice and i'm sure you will probably quote a single section, make a joke and think all will be ok, but i've honestly lost some respect for Paradox on this day.
Its like the little child who's been embarrased by his trousers falling down so they hit the child next to them.

a) Those that checked and read the forum were not given any penalty..
b) Those that read through the forum to find the ftp information to find out how to get the beta, configured their ftp-clients to access our ftp, and started downloading the actual game got punished. If they do this immediately after getting in, then thats not a customer I'd want.
