The AI will continue to use the AI BRIGADE as it does now, assigning them to Tactical Bombers, Naval Bombers, and Strategic Bombers.
The AI will use your new Escort Fighter Divisions (the former "Multi-Role" Fighters) as if they were Fighters, not as Escort Fighters. This means that they will tend to group them only with other "Escort" Fighters, not with the Bombers they would normally be assigned to. It would also build them (i.e., how many) thinking they are Multi-Role Fighters as well.
In essence your "mod" would "help" a human player, but might actually end up "hurting" an AI player.
Tha is definitely a good point. This is one of those hidden problems. This might be resolved I believe by having the techs activate the units from the "Multi_role" division file. I don't know if that file still works properly with the EXE, but it is there.
