I'm just asking if I should even bother to apply.

I have a modem. I'm able to handle a 5-10 MB download daily. The more distressing matter is that I'm going to the army in the middle of July, and I'll only be home(and able to test) during weekends.

I've just always longed to do some testing. That's why I'm asking this desperate question.

We are picking some testers now for the first beta wave and we will most likely pick a LOT more in August when the game is in the final stages of development. So for those of you who doesn't get in now, don't despair as your applications will be reviewed again

I would recommend you do not apply on this one. Wait for CK instead.
To test the game, you need more than your week-ends, so wait until you have loads of free time.
I am sure this is not the last Paradox game Well, we all hope!
