I felt like an involuntary beta-tester while playing the 1.00 version of HoI.
Pure masochism.
So all the rejected peeps don't have to be sad. In several months you will have the 1.00 version of Victoria as compensation for your lost beta-testing experience. I'm sure it will have enough bugs for everyone.

Wrong, probably had something to do with "Sweden Universalis". Maybe that would explain your problems with the computer as well

I didn't apply for the beta programme, since I have neither a fast enough connection nor enough time at the moment.
I thought I'd just point out that Yahoo email is suffering big problems at the moment, and has been for about the last week, as far as I can tell. I suspect it is due to receiving even more spam than previously. Emails are often taking well over a day to get through, and I wouldn't be surprised if many of them are getting bounced because they take so long to arrive. All email classed as spam should be delivered to users' "bulk mail" boxes, so it appears that some emails just aren't getting through at all, not that spam filtering is the problem.
Hopefully Yahoo will install an even bigger mail server and the problem will be solved, but until then, I would suggest that people move away from Yahoo and also that Patric makes it clear that Yahoo addresses won't be accepted for the beta expansion in August.

My apologies, I'll remember in future.
I dunno, I'm just surprised you registered that long ago, presumably because you were having problems with Hearts of Iron or even EU2, but then despite being "an involuntary beta-tester" didn't actually try to help solve them at all.
Did you apply for the Victoria beta?
