Beta 1.33 - AI not joining battles

Having done a few games in 1.33, it seems that AI is now ignoring battles. As an example, a few screenshots of a situation where my troops are sieging (to free) Wien and were attacked by Ottos. Meanwhile, my Austrian allies and my Papal state condottieri are walking around randomly. It seems that AI was changed to avoid battles and focus on sieges, but it seems to have went a bit too far.

That is a bad example, as a player i wouldnt join that battle, too. I understand it, that with the new Beta the AI calculates if it can win a battle. And what i see on those Screenshots dont look like a winning battle, even when the ai sends all in....
