Best way to use thrall worlds

I’m running an authoritarian fanatic spiritualist star-cult slaver empire, and just unlocked the thrall world option for the first time. I have two recently terraformed planets, but am not sure which would be best to make into a slave planet.

Option A: A size 20 planet with lots of resource tiles resulting in 12 possible energy and food districts, and 5 or 6 (cant remember) mining. It also has a crystal deposit. This would allow my slaves to work the deposits no problem, but am I wasting that crystal deposit (are unique resource buildings allowed on thrall worlds)? Would i be better off using this world as normal so I can also utilize the +15% bonus buildings?

Option B: A size 15 planet with 5 mining and food and 4 energy districts. This would really just be to grow my slaves quicker, and would prevent me from losing too much potential as its the smallest size planet thrall worlds are allowed on, but since city districts are not allowed, i would never get to the total size 15 the planet offers.

Let me know your thoughts!

Option B, and build Fortresses.

AFAIK the only buildings you can get on Thrall Worlds are :
(- Overseer Residence)
(- Slave Huts)
- Food Processing Facilities/Centers
- Hydroponic Farms
- Military Academy
- Planetary Shield Generator
- Slave Processing Facility (SPF)
- Stronghold/Fortresses

Basically fill all district with chattel slavery and get a SPF. After that, I have seen only 2 builds :
- Food : FPF + Spam Hydroponics with Chattel Slaves
- Naval Capacity : Spam Fortresses with Battle Thralls

I was leaning towards option B as well, and then just shipping slaves off to my bigger resource-rich planets.

I do think in the long run they should look at the building restrictions for thrall worlds. it seems arbitrary that you can’t run strategic resource extractors or yield boosters, it’s not like they need specialists. It’s even weirder that they allow the food processor, and makes it feel like an oversight or bug that the others are disabled. This would make slave workcamp style planets actually worth doing.

Strategic resources can be mined on thrall worlds. But I would still go with option B or even option C which is make them both thrall worlds. There isn't a limit for thrall worlds like prison colony or resort worlds. I'm pretty sure there isn't a size limitation for the planet either. I swear I run thrall worlds on size 12 etc as I remember getting a 3 world system with tiny planets and making them all thrall.
