So, as the Byzantines, I'm often presented with a situation where I only want to raise specific vassal's levies. For example, a holy war against a minor muslim state, or a rebellion. Whatever. Now, as far as I can tell, there's 3 ways to specifically raise the levies of a specific area/vassal:
- Manually select each location that you want to raise levies.
- Raise the entire realm's levies, and then immediately stand down the ones you don't want (just click and drag judiciously)
- Go the military screen, scroll through your vassals, and pick the one you need to raise armies for. In theory, this should be the best one. But when you have dozens upon dozens of vassals, and you're more concerned with their location than anything else, it's not that useful. You have to go back and forth; "Ok, Alexios is duke of Antioch, so I'll go find him." "Now, who's next? Mesopotamia, thats Andronikos, go find him" and on.
Is there another way that I've missed? I'd love to be able to just select a duchy and raise all their levies right from that screen. Am I blind? If not, then please, P'dox, could this button be added in a patch (or XP...)
