Best subject focus when you have hundreds of vassals?

I have hundreds of subjects (im the shogun) and can't be bothered to micro-manage each one to strategically set a focus (siege, supportive, aggresive, etc)
Is it best to leave everyone on 'No focus' ? I also saw some people set everyone to 'Siege'.

It's hard to tell which one is best... my subjects seem kinda brain dead no matter the focus. I'm playing 1.33.2

Passive if you want them back home because youre about to fight their neighbours, offensive or siege if you want no micro, attach if you want minor micro

I usually set the smallest vassals (those whose force limit is not even half a combat width) to supportive, and the rest to no focus. I've found that they make a decent job of sieging this way.
