Is anybody here willing to make a Slavic culture mod? Because, let's be honest, the Slavic cultures have some of the worst names in CK2. Except the Estonians and Mordvins, who have Altocumulus in their namelists. :D

I think it's just better to add all the needed changes as a part of SWMH mod. Which is kinda the accumulated awesomness of all mods + maximum historic accuracy.

Slavs cannot into unified Latin script.

You guys shouldn't give up Cyrillic. It looks unique and fits Slavic phonetics perfectly.

Dunno, I think "Государь Славян" sounds very dignified and prestigeous and flat out badass.
Well, that's Zrenjanin's name in 4 languages, which are, I assume:
Serbian
Hungarian
Czech or Slovakian
Romanian

Also, we never technically left Cyrillic. We officially left Latin 5 years ago, but it's still being learned in schools.

Well, not really. SWMH doesn't add any flavour events, which completely kicks out CzokeletMuss' ideas, plus, they wish to have most of their flavour stuff added by VIET once they're compatible. The problem is that the Slavic update was supposed to be worked on right about now, but as cybr is sick, we're not gonna see it for a long time.

EDIT: Nagybecskerek means Great Bečkerek in Hungarian. The name didn't adapt as Hungarians don't give a crap about Žarko Zrenjanin.

I approve of calling it Slavia, if only because then, every time something awesome happens, you can punch the air and say "You go, Slavia!"

Back to the topic: what about Slovenschina (just as a variant)? Does suffix -schin- exist in all Slavic languages? It does in Russian and probaby other East Slavic. Did it exist in Proto-Slavic?

Slovenščina means Slovenian, as a language. :D
