... but where the AI is not too overpowering...
May sound like an odd thing to say, because I am looking for a mod (the basic scenarios are looking quite familiar), but I keep reading stuff where the computer opponent has become almost too effective against someone like myself who does not play optimally. I completely respect those who maximise the game system to give the most favourable results, but my personal style of play is not to do so.
For example, I'm not going to make my moves to maximise the effect of an event I know is coming in the game but would not do so IRL. Stuff like that. Anyway, this would appear to put me at a disadvantage against the game where I read things to the effect of 'this mod is fantastic, my ten panzer divisions were stopped by three under strength french militia divisions...'
The most important point is asking if someone can recommend a mod that changes the flavour of the basic game without meaning that I have to set my slider to 23.67% industry in 1936 in order not to lose the game in 1937. Hope this makes sense!
