Best Mod to use playing as Japan?

Hi there
I'm a HoI series veteran but I have plaied Japan years ago.
Now I would like to start a new campaign with this country and I'm looking for a mod (and some advices) that allow me to follow a quite historical path.
I'm asking for a mod because I've red the vanilla AOD has a very bad USA AI.

I'd recommend CORE. I'm currently playing a Japanese game with it in fact; going well and pretty historical.

haha, I knew what was coming. Cyber is right, CORE is a good choice. Gameplay is quite different from vanilla so you might need some time/trials to adjust.
