Best Low Cost Laptop For Playing Europa Universalis IV?

Hello everyone! I have been playing EU4 on an early 2014 Macbook Air that is starting the die. The laptops battery life is now around 1 hour and half the time doesn't charge.
So Now I want to buy a new Laptop that is ideally under $600-700 and can run Steam with EU4 on it and ideally the laptop would be on the smaller side. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks!

any laptop with a ryzen 3000 apu will play eu 4 or the other pdx grand strategy games. just get 16gb ram to be somewhat future proof and your set. that can be had for under 700 and your good to go.

I'm on an ASUS rog that I picked up at best buy for $1400. I've yet to run into anything that runs poorly except emulators, but those are to be expected by design.

Make sure it meets the game's minimum requirements, in particular that it has a proper AMD or nVidia GPU alongside any Intel video system it might have.
