In my opinion it is the final finished version of HOI2: Armageddon. HOI3 seems to work properly now and has lots of fans but for some reason it just doesn't hold my interest for very long. I also don't use many mods so the newer re-makes (Arsenal of Democracy, Iron Cross, Darkest Hour) don't interest me much but I have just started poking around with AoD, maybe it will change my mind.
