Cheers. For info, in my file the #altaic line says "#Altaic horse breeders (and Persian)" and group 1 already has "iranian", the other three are "persian" however. I guess the name of the hashtag is just a comment line or otherwise irrelevant.

Correct. I renamed them in my mod, but yeah anything after a # is not read by the game.

And yeah, it's a bug that the first entry is Iranian and the other three are just Persian. It's been reported.

Out of curiosity, how would one change cultural buildings from being tied to ruler culture, to being tied to province culture? It seems like it would make buildings less apt to disappear, and it seems that retinues already give individual rulers enough culturally-appropriate military flavor.
