My heartfelt thanks to each of you. The idea of my capitalizing on the shared-problem of navigating invisibility to engulf our “trio” and the resulting, if I may, a sort of shared-character, seems a bit of a cheat to me. However, I am having fun and my reward is that the farce is therapeutic balm. Far better than that though, I’ve witnessed, the unusual adventure provides giggles & grins for others and that is worth a very great deal to this aged spell-caster.
Thankfully I have been following several wonderful stories and am prepared for this
unexpected mission.
Most of you likely already know the long list of well-written characters that populate AARland. If only I had the time & health to do all here justice, because there are both newer-newcomers and the gifted-veterans to consider for one single choice.
Before I get to my selection, I want to mention a few. (of many)
@El Pip
has had this deserved honor in recent years and I want to recognize that it was/is
his dynamic duo T&T that first inspired me to think outside the game and then, so to speak, make the Outside, work with the Inside. Before enjoying his AAR, I did not have a creative-inclination - past being a good combat-reporter. In short, my outside world of writing came inside the game; the two did not have to remain separate. An old dog can learn new tricks.
After my AAReading branched outside of TFH, I discovered AARland is a special place for all present and the qualities of both writing and support often outstanding. So much so, there is no way for me to highlight what could/should be highlighted, so I regret, moving past my first recognition, I purposely kept my list narrow.
@coz1
earlier won for his Morcar in
The Rightful King, and that Story is now followed by many interesting characters in the sequel
The Bold Prince https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/the-bold-prince.1036255/
@Asantahene
The Wolves of Westseaxna-a tale of Wessex continues to be loaded with well-written and interesting personalities.

@RedTemplar
The Eastern Vikings - Baltic Megacampaign Part 1 is another Story loaded with solid portrayals and is a CK2+ Saga of
epic proportions.

There is much more that I could share but I need to now pass the honor to:
@tpmcinty
for his evolving Prince Totil as, Jarl of Lancaster in Whiteshirts of England:
A History of the Hvitserk Dynasty of Jorvik AAR "
http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...y-of-jorvik-aar.1028954/page-14#post-23324745"
From my perspective Totil is torn between between what is right to do and what he needs to do within himself and all the while, his clever strong-willed wife “holds-court” within Totil’s own internal battle, navigating a powerful brother that happens to be King and who is not, let us say, Prince-charming.
So I wish to encourage this interesting effort to venture away from a Beowulf or Alfred etc. and investing time with a Prince riding the rim of greatness.
Cheers all and happy writing and reading!
