I'm saving up money to build a PC what would you guys recommend be the best specs for me to go and just balls to the wall with Crusader Kings 2 I own almost all the DLC.

I think every dedicated gaming PC would do the Job. Keep an eye on the CPU and RAM. See at my Signature what is enough to run the Game perfectly.

Best build is probably a skylake i7, DDR4 ram and the game on an SSD. Game already runs great with a skylake i3 with DDR4 and a decent SSD drive. With reaper's due optimisation it runs like a dream tbh.
To be honest - Many Companies have Issues with Multi-Threading ...
So, especially for older Games, take a CPU with fewer, but stronger Cores and to have "Hyper-Threading" isn't necessary, too.
