Can someone tell me if I patch HO2 orig. is the AI in that better than if I played thru DD or Arm, given that they have had less time to upgrade the AI's OR does the ARM/DD HO2 AI's in the original campaigns e.g.1936 in DD/Arm start with the improvements. I have just brought Arm/DD and it let me patchup using HO2 patches?

I'm not sure whether I have understood your question, but let me try to answer anyway :

DD and Arma are complete upgrades, i.e. once you have those installed, you can take your original HoI2 CD, brake it in half, trample on it, burn the remains and then throw that mess away.

The AI was among the major improvements of both DD and Arma, and with the Armageddon 1.3beta2 patch it is the best you will ever see without modding. Just install Arma, the 1.3beta2 patch and then start a 1936 campaign - you will be satisfied.

I've had some farely insane AI encounters with the DAIM mod....Others have encountered the odd VERY insane game with DAIM. (Where the AI can literally wipe the floor with the human opponent, even experienced ones :\....check out the AAR "Democracys last legs")
