You don't need shared destiny cuz at now integrating vassal is free of influence.
I've tended to take mastery of nature, not because I want to use it early but because the ascensions I do want are all mid-late game and I need to take something to unlock them. MoN is always good eventually. I've started splitting my earlier traditions between expansion and discovery because I am not hype for my first ascension.
Mastery of nature is the strongest out of all the options in the slot,
Is useless you can just conquer plaents if you want slaves and if you really want to raid you can pick the civic without wasting a perk.nihilistic acquisition
suffer from having little impact when you first pick them but scale extremely well as the game goes on
Tech speed is everything in stellaris it makes or breaks the game....saying that extra tech speed is bad is just ridiculous .It gives you a massive advantage for the entire gametechnological ascendency is just meh all game long,
Were you playing Stellaris when ascension perks first got added in and Mastery of Nature was everyone's go-to first pick? Good times.

Nobody answered Consecrated Worlds yet, huh? That perk is really strong. I pick it 1st when I play spiritualist. Othwerwise 10% research speed is "always ok" option.
