Berg should be able to restore Lotharingia

Berg's very first national idea, titled 'The Heirs of Lotharingia', references the dynastic link they have with Lotharingia, how they are the true rulers of the region and so on, however Berg cannot form Lotharingia. I suggest Berg be able to reform Lotharingia like Lorraine can if they meet the requirements.

But other people on the thread knew more about Brabant than I so would it not be better for them to add a suggestion? I will add in Aachen, was it Francia or Lotharingia we wanted them to be able to form?

I think I will invite them to make a suggestion because they are more knowledgeable on the topic than I.

At the moment it is just Burgundy and Lorraine as far as I know, which is odd as Lorraine is merely the Successor state to Upper Lotharingia, but there is no representation of Heirs of Lower Lotharingia.

Brabant for example most likely has the strongest claim to reforming Lotharingia if it were to gain independance from Burgundy, with Burgundy probably also using this exact claim to the name as Dukes of Brabant.

Further basically all these states have some form of claim over it:

• Archbishopric of Cologne
• Prince-Bishopric of Liège
• Bishopric of Utrecht
• Bishopric of Cambrai
• Duchy of Limburg
• County of Guelders (includes also the shire Teisterbant)
• Margravate of Ename, later called Imperial Flanders or the County of Aalst
• County of Jülich
• County of Namur
• County of Cleves
• County of Hainault, including the Margravate of Valenciennes and the County of Bergen
• County of Holland
• County of Berg
• County of Loon
• County of Horne
  

Cologne, Liege, Utrecht, Gelre, Cleves, Hainaut, Holland and Berg (and Julich), are all tags that should have some form of way to maybe reestablish it.

Holland and Utrecht maybe being the exception to this as they should probably be incentivized to become Netherlands.

Kinda forgot that tag existed, but yea.

Same with other few tags in upper Lorraine like Luxembourg and Trier now that I'm thinking of it. The palatinate might even be somewhat part of it, but that's stretching.

I wonder how many people play it. Its basically the Western Lorraine, but French Ducal NI make it a bit stronger in terms of military than actual Lorraine.
