Benelux Publisher

Considering the fact that we sold LESS than 100 copies of EU2 in Belgium when we had a distributor there, not many publishers are extremely anxious the publish our games there.

That can't be right. I work at Fnac Leuven and bought the game there 2 years ago. I can look at (and did !) the sales figure for any article. In Fnac Leuven alone there were 23 copies sold.

I'm sure Paradox did sell more than a hunderd copies in Belgium.

Well, I bought my copy at the FNAC City 2 in Bruxelles and saw that at least a dozen were sold, if not more. But they had the title very lately and it was the Nobilis edition, don't know if they were the licenced distributor for Benelux...

Perhaps some good news for those living near the city of Tilburg, Netherlands. Today I visited the shop where I buy almost all of my games and informed about when they would have Victoria. The guy told me that they should get it on the 18th of November, give or take a few days later. It is propably going to be imported so expect to pay a hefty price. Unfortunately their site doesn't contain any information yet about Victoria . http://www.cybergate.nl At least I hope they will have it by Friday.

On a side note, I got my copy of EU2 6 months after its release at a Dixons store in Maastricht.

Sadly enough, I live in Maastricht and can only take a train to Tilburg as early as Friday afternoon, I only have a students weekend OV-card . On the other hand calling them might help, their phone number is listed on their site.

The Panvision release uses the same text as the UK, North America, and Australia releases; which is to say, English.

When shopping for HoI, I tried Dynabyte, but they said they didn't have it.

I finally found an online store that sells Victoria! Thanks for pointing me to dvdboxoffice.com, Registered! It'll cost me only 33 euro's, whereas if we ever get a publisher in the Benelux, it'd cost at least 48 euro's.



I do hope they'll send it to me soon!

These seem major German sites who say to deliver in the Netherlands at acceptable shipping fares.

Don't worry about the version being German, one can choose upon install wether one wants the German or the English version.

EDIT: These shops will have Victoria available from the 26th onward. The shipping cost are between 5 and 7,5 euros.

Belgians! Order it from Germany! The German version has the option to install in English anyway.
