Awesome! Is this the hoped-for PDM-style overall-improvements-mod?

Sweet , i just hope there could be some balance to HRE too.Since they always conquer central europe in 100years or soo.

However is there any way to change the names of the "epic archery ranges" so it does not sound like a 13 year old LOLtard kid thought up the name?
Well of course. I added all additional localisations to "localisation\text5.csv". Just scroll down to the bottom and replace them.
And thanks for the flowers. Now I feel more than a decade younger.

Good start on this mod, still a lot of stuff I would like to see but this is better then playing the normal version of game. Think the problem with Paradox is that they try and make their games fun for the person who do not know much history and people like me need mods that make it more historic and hard :)

Sorry this was not meant as an insult! I know it wasn't you who called them that way. (I know Pdox wrote some of them into the files but decommented them or something)

Anyway, if you have feedback, suggestions or requests - feel free to post them here.

Next version should allow women (or at least some of them) to become councilors.
I am also thinking about adding some non-historical de-jure empires like Great Britain and Scandinavia as long-term goals for the player.

Only just started playing your mod but for knew
-More DE jure kingdoms, that would make the HRE and some of the other big starting kingdoms more unstable
-lower starting laws, that way all nations would have to build up their laws just to get to normal.

Will think of more as I try your mod and see if you like :)

The good thing is: The new most structure should allow more modular mod building.

So I should be able to offer an easy toggle option for regular/modified content.

- homosexual: Changed "sex_appeal_opinion" to -30 (instead of +30).

Why would Homosexuals be disgusted by people who are also Homosexuals? It's hard-coded for a reason: It's most likely meant to apply between characters with the trait of their gender.

Can I make a suggestion?

Change thresholds for interactions with other characters so we see less "yes" and "no" and more "maybe".

I did it and now when I propose marriage and wait for the reply, it has more sense, as I don´t know the result from the beginning!!!

Before that I only saw "maybe" when calling allies to war

Can I also make a suggestion? Change the penalty for being a pretender from -50 to something less absurd. I would like to give my brothers and second, third, and fourth sons some holdings!

Gaga,

What kind of plots and ambitions do you plan to add in the future? Do you plan to allow plots to build coalitions for a common revolt, or to conspire with a foreign King to defend him in an independence war?

Also, I would want more "non-murder" plot, for instance to slander the reputation of a courtier or a minister, bribe a councilor or an Elector, create proof that the Queen is cuckolding his husband with another vassal, etc.

And finally, of course, more plots for Kings out of the usual "kill my wife" and Wealth/Exalted/Virtue ambitions. I would like as Ambitions, for instance, to rebuild the Kingdom of xyz, kick the Pagans out and rule over a Catholic kingdom, go on Crusade, or make yourself a friend of the Pope or the Emperor.

Fantastic changes so far, GAGA!

I was thinking of doing a balance mod, but you included most of the things I wanted to include and much more, great work!

I would consider doing the following:

1) Reduce fertility across the board. Once the game starts rolling and new characters start replacing the existing ones, one can seldom find a couple with just 1 or 2 children. It would provide for a much more challenging and exciting game if you couldn't count on having many children every time. Also, it would ease inheritances somewhat and make playing with Gavelkind a bit more bearable.

2) Give penalty for emperors on raising their vassal's levies. This would nerf Byz and HRE as it would prevent them having hundreds of thousands of soldiers 100 years in the game. Empires (both Byz but especially HRE) seem way too centralized and powerful and too hard to break down as it stands. Also, maybe make it so that it's harder for emperors to increase crown authority.

3) Reduce the garrison growth from buildings as rebels besieging provinces are pretty powerless at the moment in mid and late game.

4) CB changes:
- increase prestige and piety gain from "defend the faith CB" (religious assistance) as it's not very tempting to use at the moment.

- split the religious CB in two. One should be usable only for religious enemies that are your neighbors and should otherwise remain the same. The other one (for pagans and Muslims who are not your neighbors) should include prestige and piety requirements (you can't DoW Muslims and pagans that are not your neighbors unless you have high prestige and piety). This has both logical justification and game balancing effects. It makes sense that for a ruler to incite his vassals to fight in a holy war far from their home, one needs to be a prestigious and pious ruler. In game-play terms, it would reduce the possibility of France and HRE devouring Iberian muslims too fast, for one.

-introduce de jure duchy claim CB for kingdoms. For example, if I create a kingdom of Italy, as things stand now I have to take lands from HRE basically province by province. If I'm an indipendant king, I should be able to DoW HRE and claim the entire duchy and all counties belonging to it in a single war. This should only be usable by kings on kings or emperors.

If you need any help with coding and writing I'd be more than willing to help, though my modding skills for Clausewitz are limited still, I'm ready to learn.

+1.

Does the Legalism requirement work as intended? As Apulia I tried to switch over to Seniority, but couldn't because of the Legalism requirement. Every province in my demesne had at least 1 and as did every province under me but one (Foggia, which for that matter wasn't even under the duchies I officially held at the time.) Does this mean that for a liege to change his laws, every single province under him must have the minimum tech?
