I firmly believe Belgium won't stand a chance against the Germans. Playing Belgium I would secretly ally with Germany and sneak attack France, capturing Paris.
Without the Belgian uranium the US won't be able to build the A-bombs.
Result: an Axis victory!

What if the French actually repels the German attack and conquer Belgium?
Result: An allied victory. :p

The French couldn't handle the Germans, if the mighty Belgian army joins the Germans the French have no chance of defeating the attack. Nearly all the French forces were defending the Maginot Ligne. It's only because Germany needed ten days to defeat the Belgians that France had the time to move some troops.

The uranium the US used came from the Belgian Congo.

I am sure if they needed it they would of found it.

Haha... I like it...
First off, I am really interested in how you can build your "mighty" belgian army and also the willingness of the people to fight your war of conquest. You will definately have to make immense efforts just to get your economy producing enough trucks to motorize your army, because if you are going to be of any help to the germans in speeding up the fall of France you will need to be able to ride the blitz, and remember that the german army was still using animal traction on a large scale during Barbarossa. Second, about the uranium, the allies can just go and take it, as simple as that. Most surely your involvement in the war will not decisively affect the outcome of such major battles as the Battle of England, Stalingrad, Kursk-Orel, no matter how well you would organize your army before the war breaks out, and once the allies gain the initiative, the is little you can do to reinforce your garrison in Congo, especially with the Royal Navy patrolling. Or do you think HoI will be so badly designed that a buch of colonial garrison batallions will be able to hold off US marines, british paras, canadian or ANZAC troops? So you will probably prolong the war for 30 days at the very best and postpone the inevitable... Close, close, but no cigar...

But for the sake of argument (and assuming the AI is as dumb as a rock), you do manage to deprive the allies of uranium, what then? The A-bombs were used in 1945, August, even, the war in Europe was over and Japan was defeated, the A-bombs were dropped to convince the fanatic japanese leadership to surrender without having to firebomb every square inch of Japan, or starve them into submission. Axis victory, my behind...
But hey, a bit of daydreaming never hurt anyone, right?

Who told you the war is going to be over by August 1945? :p
HoI is gonna be the biggest showdown since the real thing, and I'm telling you, nobody here is going to make the same mistakes made by the Axis or Allies...........:(
They will make others...........:p :D

Oh, we're talking about multiplayer? Then things would end very quick. I'm sure no self-respecting human being would let a military buildup comparable to Germany's (you want to make a difference, right?) just float by, hindsight is a wonderful thing. You have two choices: a massive and quick military buildup through close and open cooperation with Germany, but this way, if Germany loses, so do you, and you are also likely to get knocked out first as the weakest link of the Axis, or you can do things quietly and subtlely, but you might just move too slow to make an impact, either because Germany is winning or losing the war already. Choose your flavour...

The best thing that the Belgians could muster would be hordes of infantry, at BEST.
They have no chance of victory at all

Actualy nearly all of French forces were rushing to the aid of Belgium.

Or more to the fact that French tank divisions where clashing with German tank divisions. Btw, what happened to that big ass fort the Belgians built ? Fell to a couple of glider troops did it?

Not quite true TMHO, a big part still remained there.

Eben-Emael (the fort) was indeed taken by German Para's.

Almost all French motorized and armoured troops went into Belgium acording to Gamiles plan to halt the Germans in Belgium and thus protract the war.
