Belgium Pre order Problem

hello im a new user here like u guys can see i dont know if there is anyone else here that is from belgium but some time ago i found the game crusader kings 1 wich was fully made for me because of my passion for the crusades. now that i found out about crusader kings 2 like 3 weeks ago im calling every game store here in belgium and they dont know anything about a release of a game named Crusader kings 2 wich is a shame now that all of the gamestores here in belgium are not gone sell it for unknow reason i have a problem. i can pre-order it online but when its send on 14februari until the game is here iv already had several hart attacks because of my inpatience now my qeustion is to paradox interactive and the mods and all other ppl that know anything about this WHY DOES BELGIUM STORES DONT KNOW OF THIS GAME'S EXISTENSE? because now i dont have any Pre-order benefits except the DLC wich are not important to me as playing the game on the 14the

It is indeed a big problem to find the game in Belgium. Gamemania for instance isn't carrying the game. They have carried EU3 and HOI3 in the past, but that's where it ended. Either they aren't making enough profit on the copies or they haven't simply ordered copies at all. It isn't a one-time thing either. Sword of the Stars 1 was carried in the shops, but none of the expansions were. Sword of the Stars 2 never made it either despite me pestering them about it.

Other shops like Fnac, Bart Smit or Free Record Shop never carried Paradox games, so you won't find the game there either.

I'm afraid you'll have to order it online, jimmy. I had to do it too.

Paradox Interactive is relatively low key, filling a niche market.

I have never seen any PI games in Dutch Stores.


I think you can order physical copies online, but since I don't do physical, I wouldn;t know where you can get them.

Gamersgate and Steam sells it, if you don't mind digital copies.

I, as well, simply ordered it from GamersGate. It's a good and trustable site. If you do not have a credit card, go to PayPal, make an account there and transfer money from your bank account to the paypal account. You can then buy your game on GamersGate.

I'm afraid it's the only way. I have never seen a Paradox game in a Belgian store.

EDIT: When you buy the game on gamersgate, you can download it. It won't be shipped all the way here. So you can play as soon as the game is released

heh well, accually there's a few online stores like webhallen who carry it, but honestly.. most gamers from my country buy their games online these days. So i understand the semi move from paradox to online.

But yeah.. there's no stores where I live who accually carry the game on their shelves.

No, but then there are ways of backing up your game by burning them on CDs I have heard.

I bought Europa Universalis 1 in the Free Record Shop in Leuven years ago which was my intro to Paradox.
Hcw.be used to stock Paradox games (bought CK1 and Vicky 1 from them), but it seems they've been eaten by a bigger, more mainstream, fish.

So I bought the game at Gamersgate as well.
