Belgium - Defense and money

Hi guys,

Playing as Belgium its March 1940, I'm part of the allies and just wondering what I should do with my money I have around 360 and have already spent around 200 on license for planes and just wondering what I should spend it on.
Also wondering what defensive strategies to go for I've just been currently building forts in my VP points and have quite a mixed army mostly inf with some AT and Arty and two cav/mot divisions. My air force is currently 3 interceptors and 1 close air support with another close on the way and I have no navy. I currently have around 70 odd IC thanks to UK and USA.
Just looking for any suggestions on playstyle, fun things to do, advise etc

its mostly lost cause for belgium, due to poor terrain and AI dumbness. you can try to stall the germans in trench war, but you will eventually loose it due to MP. much better strategy would be to start conquering other neutral countries.

Well, I've not played Belgium before, but I *imagine* if you could get some kind of a navy going you could *maybe* bleed off enough of the AI's forces to at least get you through to 1943 when the USSR will DoW Germany in most cases as long as the French don't blow it and lose the Maginot or let Italy come across the alps lol. Maybe license a few CLs? lol. The upside to constructing a paltry navy is it'll save on MP, and not take much IC, so you can keep building landforts or whatever it is you've done to survive to this point lol.

I collapsed in early 1941 allowing France to stick around a bit longer and bleed some German MP I think I cost them around 100 MP which isn't bad. Was fun while it lasted it wasn't my own manpower that got me it was the repeated attack basically drained all my units organisation until they had around 3/4 massive battles for Brussels where we kept losing it then retaking and eventually got surrounded.
