So there I was the Despot of Serbia (vassal to Byzantia) and the duke of Wallachia I might add. My liege, in his infinite wisdom decided to press his de jure emperor (or whatever) claims on the one county in Wallachia that was owned by Hungry instead of me. Well, I wasn't going to let my liege get more land that belonged to me, naturally. So I declared war as well against Hungry (using my de jure duke claim on said county). Well, through clever use of my troops I managed to win the war. After I won I noticed on my character screen, that my liege no longer liked me, so I looked and found that my liege considered me a traitor and he now had claims to ALL my titles. I'm not independent or anything (and shouldn't be of course), I did not attack him (we were not hostile with each other). So this must be a bug, yes? If not, I think I should have been warned that this would happen. Luckily, I had grown strong enough and he was hated enough by his other vassals that I decided to oust him and so I became emperor a few years later...I figured I had better before he locked me up...Still was a bitter pill to swallow when it originally happened.
EDIT: And I'm running CK2 all expansions on.
