why haven't you conquered rhodos and cyprus (and ragusa (?)), it looks strange to have nations there if you are dominating the mediterran. 
The Knights are a vassal I released, I thought it made sense to have a crusading order under my command. Cyprus I just wasn't interested in enough to take the 8 BB hit to annex them.
Just found this thread. Got me thinking about an idea of mine...
Maybe a mod for the unification of the Kingdom of God on Earth? (Would be called 'Kingdom of God' on the map, colonies would be named 'Christian, IE 'Christian North America' or 'Castillian-Christian war of honor.) You'd have to declare it, and you'd get cores on all the italian states. Maybe an added bonus like getting Defender of the Faith or papal controller for awhile as well?
There would be penalties, too. Like, the infamy/war exhaustion limit would go waaay down, and if you ever crossed the infamy limit or went to -3 stability (Something like that), than a new country would spawn out of all of northern italy (Kingdom of Satan, maybe? something along those lines) as Animist or Shamanist. Kind of like the US Civil War in Victoria 2.
(Probably would have an adjective of 'Satanic', IE Christian-Satanic War of Honor or Satanic Oceania.)
(Also, just to clarify, i don't mean to be religiously bias here at all. Personally, I respect people of other religions, this is simply an idea and I do not propose this mod simply because I am, or may be, christian. I deeply apologize for any offenses taken from this post. Thank you.)

it would be funny to form Kingdom of God and then switch to Administrative Republic. Then it would be Administrative Republic of God! Hilarious stuff.
How about making the Kingdom of God and letting it break to Steppe Nomad rebels somehow? Then you'll have the Khanate of God, made up of nomads from the steppes of... Italy?
